Pixi “Do you have, at least, some ideas for what you might like?” “Some?” “I think?”
Pixi leading a slightly down pair. “Lets hit the showers. I know what we need.”
In shower “We’re sorry.” “-for being so much trouble.” Pixi “Nonsense. We just need a break. It’s time for pampering.”

Poor anthroids are just exhausted. Pixi too. I can only imagine how overwhelming it would all be. Going from never making a decision for your self, never having to make a decision, or hold any opinion, to having ALL THESE OPTIONS pushed on them in just over a day... I think I'd be exhausted too. So, this has come up a few times before, but it's a piece of the Hey 'Verse... ergonomics? Furgonomics? One of the differences in the world is that there are public showers all over the place. They're almost as common as public bathrooms. A lot of that has to do with musky species like foxes and skunks. Part of it is also that gender and sexual acceptance is at a level that means people are more comfortable being naked around one another. That said, I'm not sure Fay and Ed would be this comfortable around just about anybody else.

    It’s a good bit of world building that you’re putting in. And yeah, I could see public facilities being a thing for some of the more pungent species. Some options that I’ve tossed into my stories are musk blocking sprays, ‘dry’ shampoos and the like. Oh, and don’t forget the need for full body dryers. Walking around with soggy fur half the day would cause hellacious matting.

    A nice take on the larger world that’s being explored for Ed and Fay, though! Well done!

      It was definitely the “more pungent species” that inspired this bit of world building. (Great turn of phrase) and yeah, the full body dryers! I’ve got another project that mentions those mor ethan once…

    Trying on clothes was a lot of fun, but I looks like a real overload of decisions for everyone. Making up minds is going to take time. Thank goodness they have Pixi to guide them with her gentleness.

    It’s really interesting to learn about how the public bathrooms and gender acceptance work in Hey Verse. There’s a definite sense to having them readily accessible for a nice cooldown and freshening up!

    I like that you noted Fay and Ed only look comfortable because they’re with Pixi. She has come a long way in gaining their trust, and it’s nice to see them able to let down their guard around her.

    Love seeing everyone in the background casually enjoying their showers as well! ^-^

      Pixi is definitely trying to do her best to help them along.

      People, I think, are a little more comfortable with being vulnerable (nude) when most of them have knives built in. -.^
