New character design always feels like a leap of faith to me. As much as I might end up with something that I like working it out before hand, finally putting it in the comic always changes it and always feels like I'm going to mess something up...
"Just jump in with both feet" is fine for that, but probably not the best idea when it comes to friends on couches...
A couple of things going on here. Mei and Mykie's new house gets an interior (though it's all the furniture form the previous tenant so things might change still) and there's this fennec vixen...
I think Fox turned out particularly good in panel five. Not sure why, something about the proportions working out. Also I think Mykie's lean in on the last panel is surprisingly cute. ^.^
She didn’t just barely win the duel against Pixi, she trounced Pixi quite badly. I would say her game playing persona, even if not her real life personality, is quite vicious. She is probably not one who would suffer fools lightly or quietly.

Way to go with hitting on the one person who can even out-vicious Pixi. Which hospital should we send you condolence cards at?
Fox
Hey, we don’t know she’s vicious… I mean just because… Well… Ok, knowing Fox’s luck, you’re probably right. >.>

Fox
Fox is should probably be feeling quite lucky she doesn’t have access to her Kitsune-Witch powers in real life…
Hmm… Move that “probably”… As in he should be, “that she probably doesn’t”… >.>

Talk about a “smooth” introduction :-)
