This is the first time that Pixi's natural fur color has been in the comic. She's been artificially colored (but not flavored) since Hey Fox started posting in color! Her changes this time seem to have been inspired both by mistaken assumption of homage and, perhaps, dodging some legal inquiries?
This particular joke was inspired by the real-life Honey, who pointed out that Pixi need up, essentially, colored just like Lola Bunny in Space Jam. At that point, I pretty much had to roll that into a comic somehow!
Pixi is always fun to draw, and I'm enjoying this new shadow style. It's a bit harsher than I've been using, but I think it works... What do you think?
