Future generations will look at the text with great confusion, tilt their heads to the side and sullenly say to themselves, “Hm. That’s just one more mysterious sentence from that famous author we all wish we’d met.” Then they’ll look up “end of the world 2012” and get really disappointed in the intelligence (or lack thereof) of humanity, though, being very intelligent themselves, they will not let it affect their judgment of you.
(Ok, so I enjoy finding excuses for time travel, even if I can only achieve it through imagination.)
