Ok, so the stampede might be a bit of an exaggeration, but if you’ve never had to hide behind a wall of kids-boxes then count yourself lucky.
My first week working at a movie theater I started on a Wednesday, got about a half days training on concessions… Then came in the next day for the opening of a Harry Potter move. There were lines, literally, out the theater down the block, and around the corner.
