Mykie and Mei continue their house hunt. Mykie doesn't seem to excited about this one, but Mei seems... worryingly excited about it. >.>
Which reminds me... I should figure out what the hell super hero's are like in this world. I mean, Batman, Catwoman, Wolverine? What's the big deal? So you've got claws, we've all got claws! So you can fly? So can she, and he can and that one kind of glides...
This one presented a particular challenge of both world-building and drawing. So I wanted to represent a big room and the skylight without just having tiny characters. For one, Avian Access and all that suggests. Fun! Visually, I thing the top-down view worked kind of surprisingly well. on the other hand, I don't know why Mei got soooo skinny in panels 2 and 3, but i'm going with she's doing that holding-her-breath-in-excitement thing and moving on. I think I'm having as much fun exploring Mykie and Mei's dynamic with each other as I am with the actual jokes here. ^.^
